I got this interesting e-mail from my friend on the usage of mobile phone during times of emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a lifesaver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it: (1) Emergency The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out. (2) Have you locked your keys in the car? Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). (3) Hidden Battery Power Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time. (4) How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone? To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

Have you ever received a chain letter via email, sms? Nowadays I guess everyone did. My first encounter turnout to be a very nuisance. I received this kind of letter in my house mailbox, saying that I need to send 10 more letters to other within 3 days after I read it. Enable to comply mean something bad will happen to me. So I end up photocopying that 3 pages letter, put it in a nice envelope and deliver the mail to my nearest neighbors early in the morning, just to makes sure no one saw me. Each time i think about it again, i felt so stupid.
Now, whenever I received chain letter, either by mail, email or sms, I totally ignored it after reading the first few sentences. The contents was so obvious. Nevertheless I have to admit some contains good advice and religious messages. But come to think about it, good thing won’t happen just by continuing to circulate the letter. It doesn’t work that way.
Do you think Bill Gates will give you money just by forwarding the email sent to you by thousand, of maybe millions before you. Do you think he's so generous to donate money who are we to him? Or you will go to heaven just by sending letter? Sending letter won’t send you to heaven, prayers and good deeds do! and 1 more, our email account (or friendster) WILL NOT closed if we don't forward the messages to others, that the dumbest thing i ever heard of! Our mind always wants us to think the benefit we can gain, that’s why we fell easily to the letter contains. It was something like a myth in our society to believe in something superstitious. Thus we obliged to the threat.
Last week I received an sms that said “don’t answer to this phone number 016-XXXXXXX, or else they will cast a black magic on you” or something like that. Duh! Is this for real? How can we still succumb to this kind of belief. Later I found out in the newspaper, the police rebuked the claim, saying the sms was just a scam. So much for someone who started all this, you managed to get the people. I quote what Adolf Hitler said;
"The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one." - Adolf Hitler
I guess its true, judging by this situation, after all.

Answer = Bring home test It’s a love or hate situation! Consider this, love it because you can have the comfort of discussing the answer by group, rather than individually. Without usual time strain, which causes sore fingers and stress, as the answer book is submitted the next day. The answers? If only UMS have a loophole in their exam regulations, expect a printed version of final answer with reference. Nevertheless I don’t expect complacency, as the marking system will be set a notch higher. So the answers need to be perfect or less the same. Hate it most probably because exam preparation before the assessment was fruitless. Now everyone has the same starting ground whether its all set or not. It doesn’t depend on how much you know, but how greatly you are well versed with the book. Apparently time spend on revising this subject can be allocate to doing something else. Then again, we can never know what will happen. I won't point my fingers on SESB or some pathetic cable thieves. This is my first time experiencing blackout during exam. “when it comes to power shortage, Sabah are second to none” As for me, it’s a love situation.

Burger Ramli? Burger Kadir? Nahh....
It’s a very own Membakut burger, found and made only in Membakut (or did I miss somewhere else?). They called it Burger King because of the extremely large size. Expect none less than an 7 inches diameter bread stuffed with mayo, sauce, bean, chicken or meat and all the regular stuff to make a burger in between the gigantic bread.
My rating:
Tomato King annihilated the so-called Burger King to the very end after a tiring visit to Boondocks Barrack project overlord site.

Recently I went to a friends’ house to eat nasi lemak that his mother cooked. Knowing me, I can never really resist when it comes to food. It’s been awhile since I had a decent nasi lemak. After finishing my meal, I sat next to a bowl of pebbles and marble.
MARBLE! This tiny glass brings back memory I recalled at some stage in my younger days. I used to main guli with friends during my Sekolah Ugama Sembulan time (besides nyawa-nyawa). Back then I thought marble was some kind of a rock. My peers stated to dig the earth to obtain it, similar to what they did to unearth gold (yeah right!). I also made believe that keeping marbles in an aquarium can actually multiple it.
One day I decided not to play any longer and buried it deep at my backyard. I wrapped it nicely in a plastic so next time I can reclaim it. Well there’s no more next time because my house had a major renovation and the earth was filled 3 feet high!
